There are four individual "Group Area" picnic grounds available to rent throughout Irvine Regional Park. Each area has its own different amenities, restrictions and rules. They are as follows:
Group Area 1
Group Area 1 is centrally-located in the park and is adjacent to the lake and boathouse. It comes equipped with BBQs, water, a sink, shade-covered picnic tables, restrooms, adjacent parking as well as a playground, nearby ball field and open grass area. Minimum group size is 155 people and maximum capacity is 200 people.
Group Area 2
Group Area 2 is centrally-located in the park and is adjacent to the bandstand stage. It comes equipped with BBQs, water, a sink, shade-covered picnic tables, restrooms, adjacent parking as well as a nearby ball field and open grass area. Minimum group size is 155 people and maximum capacity is 200 people.
Group Area 3
Group Area 3 is slightly more secluded and is located toward the back of the park. It comes equipped with BBQs, water, a sink, shade-covered picnic tables, restrooms, adjacent parking as well as a nearby ball field, playground and open grass area. Minimum group size is 155 people and maximum capacity is 200 people.
Group Area 4
Group Area 4 is located in the front of the park. It comes equipped with BBQs, water, a sink, shade-covered picnic tables, restrooms, adjacent parking as well as a nearby ball field, playground and open grass area. Minimum group size is 155 people and maximum capacity is 200 people.
Each group area rents for a minimum of $237.00 for the entire day.
